Some high school students visit to UNTAR.
In order to supply the students to be able to make informed decisions relating to the continuation of his studies, as well as to enhance the good working relationship between the School and University of Tarumanegara, some high schools have come to Untar. First visit this year from high school Strada Thomas Aquino, Tangerang. On 31 March 2011. Number of students and teachers who visit amounted to about 150 people. On May 5, 2011, Untar and Royal Hospitals Taruma formally signed the MOU took place on the 5th floor Main Building. Parties represented by Rector Untar Untar (Dr. Chairy) as the power of Tarumanagara Foundation, and The Royal Hospitals Taruma represented by Dr. Imelda as a director of PT Bhakti Taruma. The signing of the cooperation was witnessed by Mr. Serian Wijatno SE MM of Foundation Tarumanagara. In this case also is very concerned Untar the Faculty of Medicine, who will use the Royal Hospitals Hospitals Taruma as medical student education. The scope of cooperation include the utilization of hospitals to develop cognitive competencies, and skills of medical students in performing medical services. Public Lecture "CORPORATE - GOVERNANCE"
With the speaker Prof.Dr. Wilfreda D. Dimaano (Dean, College Of Business Economics, Accountancy and Management), Faculty of Economics held a public lecture on UNTAR, about Corporate Governance, on Friday, 29th April 2011. This relates to a series of events conducted in the framework of cooperation between FE Untar and University De La Salle Lipa Philippines.
In his speech, Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Prof. Sukrisno Agoes, Ak, MM, CPA explained that good corporate governance and CSR in Indonesia have long intended to apply in public companies (issuers), state enterprises, and enterprises, and even some colleges have started implementing GCG.
Public lectures by the moderator by Herlina Budiono, SE, MM is at once raised the topic of research in Lebanon. This event attracted over 350 participants from the academic community in particular Tarumanegara University especially Economics Faculty. Assistant Dean of a Faculty of Economics, Dr.Ishak Ramli, SE, MM capture this golden opportunity and make a very interesting public lecture moment. The speaker clearly explain the theory of GCG and CSR as well as a link between the two, and even more interesting is the explanations of GCG and CSR theory with examples of its implementation in colleges and companies. In the QA session (Question and Answer), Dean of the Faculty of Economics became the first to the question of good corporate governance and CSR such linkages.
