The United Nations for you Campaign 2011

UNHCR representatives visit Indonesia this is part of the annual campaign the UN "The United Nations for you" which aims to engage young people, especially from within the university. Two speakers present was Salima Suyono as Associate Partner External Relations and Public Information Officer of UNHCR and Elsa Fitri Ayu. At the beginning of the show, explaining the ins and outs Partners United Nations Organization and its work area, among others in the field of peace and security, food, health, disaster management, and so on. Students can see a picture of the UN working through a short video that is displayed.

The speakers were also describes UNHCR's field of work as part of the United Nations. UNHCR as the agency in charge of the refugee problem has three main aspects of its activities, which are humanitarian, non-political, and adhering to the principles of international refugee law
